This is one of my favorite shirts or it could be a short dress (it looks pretty cute with leggings), either way its perfect for spring and is a regular in my day to day wardrobe.
I started with a basic darted bodice and added a bandanna neckline, a ruffle across the bottom and a tie to accentuate the waist. There are buttons on the shoulder to get it on and off. I love this shirt because it is easy, versatile and original.
I got this fabric while studying in Cyprus. It is 100% cotton however it has an unusual amount of drape for a fabric of its content… I would suggest making this in a nice rayon or silk, something that hangs nicely!
